Casa FOA 2025: Espacio 21 receives the Gold Medal for Architecture and Interior Design

We are pleased to announce that our participation in Casa FOA 40 Years, held at Madero Harbour, has been honored with the exhibition's highest award: 1st Prize, Gold Medal. This recognition is the result of our joint work and shared vision with designer Hugo Dimarco.

Space 21, under the theme of "Wellness," was conceived as a design response to the need for balance in contemporary life. The architectural proposal focused on creating an environment for pause and contemplation, where visitors could disconnect from the urban rhythm to reconnect with themselves.

Concept and materiality

From an Urban Maximalism perspective, the design challenged traditional boundaries by superimposing prismatic shapes and geometric structures. This strategy created a layered composition that gave the space a distinctive visual depth and great spatial richness.

To achieve the desired immersive atmosphere, fine materials were carefully selected which, combined with subdued lighting design and defined pathways, created a unique sensory experience aimed at promoting calm and well-being.

Acknowledgments

We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all the professionals, clients, and design enthusiasts who visited the space during the exhibition. We would also like to highlight the support of our sponsors and collaborators, who were key players in bringing this project to fruition.

Winning the Gold Medal alongside Hugo Dimarco reaffirms our commitment to excellence, innovation, and the power of design to transform the human experience.
