Hidrozono 's wellness retreat at the Palacio Molina during Casa FOA 2026
Hidrozono It is on display at Casa FOA 2026, from October 1 to November 1, in the Wellness area of Space 14—designed by Inés Muzzio (IM Estudio)—at the Palacio Molina, the former Alpargatas factory in Barracas.
Casa FOA marks its 42nd edition with more than 42 curated spaces spread across 5,700 m², and the event is held to benefit the Jorge Malbran Argentine Ophthalmological Foundation. This year’s curatorial concept is alchemy: transforming matter, history, and memory into new ideas. In a late-19th-century building with exposed brick facades, monumental arches, and ceilings over four meters high, this translates into a constant dialogue between the industrial past and contemporary design.
A sanctuary amid brick and steel
Espacio 14 builds on what the building already had: walls bearing the marks of time, arcades, wooden ceilings with exposed beams, and plenty of greenery. On top of that foundation, it adds mirrored surfaces, steel, glossy finishes, and soft lighting that guides visitors along the path. The idea is to offer a respite from the fast pace of modern life.
From Indoors to the Garden
You enter through a reception area that leads to a pool area with heated loungers. Further on are the infrared sauna and a relaxation room, arranged in a sequence designed to promote physical and emotional well-being. Upon exiting, the Spa Garden features three outdoor areas: a steam room, a dry sauna, and a relaxation area, all surrounded by art and scenery.
